A man is suing Drake, Odell Beckham Jr, and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Younes Bendjima for his alleged traumatic brain injury he claims he suffered following a nightclub beat down.
According to court papers obtained by The Blast, a lawsuit from Bennett Sipes has informed the court that he believes the defendants should pay him $250,000 in damages.
The filing reveals that “Mr. Sipes suffered a traumatic brain injury, as well as injuries to his back, neck, shoulders, etc. Plaintiff is seeking monetary damages for past and future pain and suffering, medical bills, lost future earnings, past and future emotional distress, and punitive damages. It is unknown at this time what the impact of the brain injury will have on lost future earnings.”
Sipes is suing the three men for the alleged assault that went down on March 24, 2018, at Delilah nightclub in Hollywood. Bennett claims Younes and members of Drake and Odell’s entourage assaulted him inside the club as he was visiting his girlfriend, Sommer Ray, who was in the VIP section talking to the men.
Bennett claims things escalated inside the venue after he walked towards his girlfriend’s location, which happened to be the VIP Area where Drake, OBJ, and Younes were. An argument broke out between the men and shortly spilled over outside the club.
Sipes’ court documents claim that as he left the VIP, he “witnessed Defendant Drake signaling to his private security a hand gesture of ‘throat slash,’ after he pointed at him. Which he understood to be some type of physical threat towards himself.” As he walked to the bathroom, Bennett claims Younes and members of the others entourages proceeded to “push, shove, kick and repeatedly punch Plaintiff in the face and body.”
Sipes’ lawsuit claims that he suffered a ton of injuries and medical bills from the alleged assault.
