10 Things We Learned From Watching Jodeci’s Breakfast Club Interview (VIDEO)

80’s Babies Link Up! Jodeci brought nostalgia by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club this where they talked about their return to the scene, and some of their experiences in the past. In the interview they discuss Diddy (back then known as Puff) and his faith in their group, their church upbringing and some of the wild things K-Ci’s infidelity used to make Mary J Blige do.

10. Devante has developed a fear of flying and has to take a tour bus everywhere.

9.  When they first signed to Uptown Records (back when Diddy was an intern) the label had them staying in a roach infested apartment in the Bronx.

8.  Dalvin’s mom & dad were pastors and the members of Jodeci were in church 7 days a week

7. Mary J Blige once came on stage during a Jodeci concert, snatched the microphone from K-Ci and told a girl in the front row, “Bitch don’t you ever touch my man again”

6.  Jo Jo and DeVante started Jodeci. Dalvin and K-Ci had to beg to be in the group. 

5.  The group drove from Charlotte to NY with $300 in hopes of signing to their dream label, Uptown. They didn’t know where the label was located so they looked it up in the phone book.
