Selena Ann Bradley was 23-years-old and pregnant with her third child when she went missing on a Friday, Oct. 16.
“Listen im fine,” a status on Bradley’s Facebook page read. “I’m ok I’m just want to be left tf alone. when I’m ready to come back I will. I have to get me and my happiness together. I’m good where I’m at.”
On Monday, Bradley’s body was found “stuffed in a freezer in the kitchen, wrapped in a blue tarp, at the home of her boyfriend.”
Boyfriend, William James Hernandez (aka Martinez), 39, allegedly admitted the crime to a friend. Telling him “he had done something terrible and he would go to prison for life.” An affidavit also stated, reported by People that, he also told the friend Bradley’s body was inside the freezer.
But, the official confession came when Hernandez broke down in tears and confessed to his 4-year-old daughter that he had killed her mother.
Until an autopsy is done, how Bradley was killed is still unclear. But, according to police reports, “Bradley had ‘marks on her neck and the left side of her face consistent with being struck and assaulted’.”
After the body was discovered Monday, police were able to locate Hernandez but had trouble arresting him as he led them on a high-speed car chase, eventually turning into a chase on foot.
On Tuesday, he was finally arrested and charged with murder. According to People, “he is being held on $1 million bond in Jones County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Tom Green County.”
Bradley leaves behind two children.
