Man Smashes Trump’s Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame For Second Time This Month

A Los Angeles man who really hates Donald Trump has vandalized his Hollywood Walk of Fame star for the second time in a month.

According to The Huffington Post, activist James Otis went to Hollywood Boulevard and attempted to destroy Trump’s star with a pickax and then turned himself into the cops. He was booked on felony vandalism charges.

Otis released a statement explaining that the attack was intended “to dramatize Trump’s policies of income inequality and the enormous damage that this president has done to our American way of life.” 

This is Otis’ third attempt to destroy the star since 2016 and his second attempt this month. He had previously attempted to smash the star earlier this month while dressed in an Incredible Hulk costume.

“I have no hatred at all for Donald Trump,” Otis told the New York Daily News after that attack. “I just don’t agree with the things he says and does.”

He made arrangements with local authorities to pay $4,400 in restitution for damaging the star in that attack.

A spokesperson told HuffPost that Otis had already been released from jail for this latest attack.
