It’s been reported that Donald Trump called Robert Murdoch yelling about the “unfair” coverage he received saying it wasn’t in his favor and then accused Murdoch of not being in his corner.
According to the Daily Mail, an anonymous source told Vanity Fair that Murdoch doesn’t believe Trump will win a second time, although he helped to get him in the door the first time.
Adding to his doubts, Murdoch is now trying to move Fox News towards a “post-Trump environment” in case Trump loses.
Trump is feeling the vibe which made him pick up the phone and yell at Murdoch. Trump accused Murdoch’s news outlet of not being biased enough towards him. The conclusion was a “humongous blow up” between the two.
“Rupert defended the network’s standards and polling,” the source said.
Apparently Trump was extremely upset that National security correspondent Jennifer Griffin made negative comments on Trump’s own comments on the war dead.
But this isn’t new, Murdoch was against Trump’s presidency back before his 2016 election but then got on board. It looks like now he may have reverted back to his initial feelings.
It’s also been said that Trump didn’t like the fact that Fox host Chris Wallace was moderating the presidential debate due to him being a tough and merciless interviewer. And it’s been said that Wallace isn’t a Trump supporter as much as other Fox people.
Trump has used his crucial Fox relationships throughout his campaign and time as president, he also calls into shows like “Fox and Friends” to discuss wide-ranging topics.
It looks like Trump is unraveling.
