Joseph R. Biden Jr. has clinched the necessary electoral college votes to become the 46th president of the United States and securing for the first time in America’s history, his running mate, California Sen. Kamala Harris as the first woman, first African American, and first Indian American to serve as vice president.
According to multiple news outlets, the Democratic nominee is the projected winner in enough states to win the necessary 270 electoral votes needed for victory. Incredibly, Biden was able to flip crucial states in this election that have long gone to republicans.
Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Nevada went blue thanks in no small part to mail-in ballots and the highest voter turnout of any Presidential election in United States history.
GOP still refuses to accept their inevitable defeat, with Donald Trump throwing out baseless voter fraud claims.
