Fans of Jordan Peele and his alluring horror film style will have to wait until 2022 to see the next classic from the beloved producer and director.

While very few details have been revealed, the horror flick’s official release date is July 22nd, 2022. The 41-year-old will write, produce and direct the film that falls under his five-year deal with Universal Pictures. Peele seemingly dropped a hint about the film shortly after the release of his 2017’s hit film “Get Out.”

“I have four other social thrillers that I want to unveil in the next decade,” Peele revealed at the time. “The best and scariest monsters in the world are human beings and what we are capable of, especially when we get together. I’ve been working on these premises about these different social demons, these innately human monsters that are woven into the fabric of how we think and how we interact, and each one of my movies is going to be about a different one of these social demons.”

The comedian turned movie mogul has become a staple in the horror community thanks to “Get Out.” The film earned $255 million on a $4.5 million budget.  The film earned him the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. He followed up with 2019’s “Us,” which grossed nearly the same as its predecessor.
