Trump supporters and “Proud Boys” are planning to descend on DC this weekend for what is being called a “Million MAGA March” in protest of Trump’s election loss.
According to The Daily Mail, supporters are planning their mass protest in DC to show support for Trump and his baseless allegations of election fraud, echoing his “Stop The Steal” rallying cry.
Numerous groups and accounts have cropped up across Facebook, Twitter, and the conservative-favored platform Parler over the last 72 hours to promote the event, scheduled to occur this Saturday, November 14, at 12:00 noon. The protesters are expected to march in a procession from Freedom Plaza right up to the Supreme Court.
Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser said on Tuesday that city officials are well aware of the planned demonstrations and assured the public that authorities would “continue to follow those activities and be prepared for those activities.”
