Just when things were getting back on track, The Real Housewives of Atlanta has decided to postpone filming after someone from the production team tested positive for the coronavirus.
“The set follows rigorous COVID-19 safety protocols including contract tracing,” a source close to production tells PEOPLE. “Out of an abundance of caution, production is shutting down for two weeks.”
RHOA is filming its 13th season and features cast members Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams and, for the first time, Drew Sidora, the outlet reports.
The Bravo network series isn’t the only one that has had to shut down production. Many have had to do the same after confirmed cases were found amongst a crew or cast member, including The Real Housewives of New York City, which paused production last month.
All American, Young Sheldon, Chicago Med, Family Karma, The Batman movie, and Jurassic World: Dominion are others that had to stop and tell people to quarantine before resuming.
On Friday, the nation hit a new high, reporting more than 132, 700 new cases in a single day. On Tuesday, the New York Times reported the United States has had over 10, 325,000 coronavirus cases, and 240,100 deaths related to the pandemic.
