Bobby Brown has broken his silence on his son’s tragic death at age 28.
During a press statement, Brown said, “Please keep my family in your prayers at this time.” He said, “Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain.”
Bobby Brown Jr. died Wednesday after experiencing “flu-like symptoms” but didn’t have COVID-19.
Christoper Brown, Esq. counsel to Bobby Brown, told Page Six, “Bobby Brown Jr. was not feeling well a couple of days before his death, with flu-like symptoms.” He said, “This is a tragic loss, and we will be letting the authorities conduct their investigation of his death.”
Los Angeles police found Bobby Jr. dead at his home after receiving a call for an undisclosed medical emergency. His cause of death has yet to be revealed, but police didn’t suspect any foul play.
On Wednesday, Bobby Brown’s son, Landon Brown, confirmed his brother’s passing via Instagram: “I love you forever, King,” he captioned a black-and-white photo of Bobby Jr.
Brown’s girlfriend, Anna Reed, also paid tribute on Thursday, tweeting, “The heavens gained an angel, but I lost my soul mate.”
