We posted Future’s Rolling Stone Cover Wednesday morning, and while he was giving us all types of Easy Breezy Beautiful Trap N*gga, the interview itself was just as juicy.
As you all know, New York rapper Desiigner, has been accused of jacking Future’s style with the release of “Panda.” The lyrics, beat, and tone sound strikingly similar to Future’s past work. Desiigner even went so far as to tease that his next single would be titled “Pluto”, which is the exact same name as Future’s debut album.
When Future was asked about the similarities between him and the 19 year old rapper who’s never been to Atlanta (nor does he have broads there), his response was short, sweet, and perfectly indicative of how he feels: “I never worried about anyone else… I don’t even want his name in the article.”
In addition to addressing Desiigner, Future also goes on to talk about his failed relationship with singer Ciara and her decision to sue him. He explains that although there were other problems in the relationship, one notable issue was that his friends didn’t like her, saw her as too “bougie”, and felt like she was trying to change him.
When asked about Ciara’s $15 million lawsuit against him he told Rolling Stone “I never imagined my life would be like that: ‘I’m going to sue you and take away from you.’ “
Despite the lawsuits, and heartbreak though, he still wishes her well. “Her being successful, her being happy, helps me… I don’t want you to go through this shit and for it to come back on my son, my kid,” Future tells Rolling Stone.
