According to Baltimore police, three Morgan State football players were stabbed in a fight on Tuesday. One player was slashed across the chest, another cut in the cheek and the other in the arm. The player who was slashed in the chest is in serious condition.
The school believes that yesterday’s fight is connected to fights that took place at a campus dance this weekend. This is the third instance of violence at Morgan State in less than a week. Besides the dance over the weekend, a male student was stabbed with scissors by his roommate after an argument over the cleanliness of their dorm room on Friday.
“The police are confident that there is no remaining threat to the University,” Morgan State president David Wilson said in a statement. “I want to assure the University community that we here at Morgan take the safety of the entire University quite seriously, and as such, the behaviors that we have seen from a few of our students over the past several days will simply not be tolerated. … This is not Morgan!”
The identities of those involved have not been released but I’m sure someone out there knows the guys in the pics. One of them is likely the one who was wielding the knife wildly and stabbed three people.
