On Wednesday, in San Antonio, Texas, a woman was arrested for allegedly hanging her toddler son over their apartment’s three-story balcony.
“Please don’t drop me,” Desirae Marie Korus’s three to four-year-old son pleaded. “Are you going to touch that again?” Korus yelled, according to an arrest affidavit.
A Drug Enforcement Agency agent just so happen to be in the area and witness the event. The agent heard the child respond, he “won’t do it again” while being dangled 35-feet above ground.
The agent quickly contacted local authorities, but officers were unable to arrest Korus until two-days later.
Charged with child endangerment, Korus is being held at Bexar County jail on one $20,000 bond.
