The Kardashians canceled their Annual Christmas Eve Party due to COVID-19. This is the first time in over 40 years that the industry packed event will not take place.
“The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year. It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978, I believe. Health and safety first, though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must,” Khloe tweeted to a fan.

Khloe seems to be extremely disappointed because this was her year to host. Kris Jenner started the tradition. Over the last few years, she’s stepped down as host and allowed her children to take the wheel. In 2018, Kim Kardashian hosted the event. Kourtney Kardashian hosted in 2019. On the bright side, Khloe dodged a major bill. It is said the extravagant invite-only event cost the Kardashians at least half a million dollars to produce.
