Houston Texan Jadeveon Clowney was taken to the emergency room for a “minor bite” by teammate D.J. Swearinger’s pit bull. Don’t worry guys, he’s expected to survive. The dog’s vaccinations were up to date so the likelihood of Clowney turning into a werewolf are slim.
According to police records, the dog bit Clowney in the right arm, breaking the skin. Clowney went to a local hospital where he sought treatment. As required, Clowney reported the bite. The pit bull was issued a standard home quarantine by the city which is consistent with any incident involving a bite according to Pearland PD.
“For the record, my dog and Clowney were just playing and it wasn’t a serious bite,” DJ Swearinger tweeted, “They were only playing. Cool out on all that. Thanks”
Clowney is expected to recover in full by training camp.
