Police have issued an arrest warrant for Sean Kingston because he allegedly never paid another jeweler.
According to TMZ, the singer had jewelry sent to his home, but he never dropped a dollar on the new drip. His negligence ended up getting him charged with grand theft, Complex Media reports. Authorities say they do not plan on actively pursuing the warrant but note that the warrant will remain in their system.
The first incident Kingston had with allegedly ripping off jewelers for their product was reported back in February 2018. The 30-year-old was ordered to pay $301,500 to Aqua Master, a New York-based jewelry store. The singer neglected to pay for nine pieces of jewelry and previously gave the jeweler two checks that couldn’t be cashed due to “insufficient funds.”
Complex reports that a few months later, a jeweler named AP The Jeweler ousted Kingston about him allegedly never sending in payments. “I’m not calling cops or taking you to court. I’m going to the streets somewhere where you scared to be,” said the jewelers in a since-deleted Instagram post.
But his outlaw drama doesn’t seem to be bothering the singer as he’s been reportedly flashing jewelry and expensive cars despite the warrant that’s out for his arrest. TMZ reports Kingston shared pictures of a mansion, an expensive watch, Lmbo, and a Mayback on his Instagram Stories. The outlet reports that his bail has been set at $45,000, and if he is convicted, he could face up to three years in prison.
