Shemar Moore, 50, seems to be the latest celebrity who has caught the novel coronavirus.
Announced on his Instagram page, Moore wrote, “Just found out moments ago… I am gonna stay wrapping presents… Yes… I have been tested and told that I HAVE COVID!!!”
According to Shemar Moore’s Instagram post, he initially thought he had food poisoning, but then started to receive some of the telltale symptoms. He did not, however, lose his sense of taste and smell or suffer respiratory problems.
Although Moore is feeling fine now and felt fine at the time of his Instagram post, he wanted to take responsibility and remain transparent to his followers.
“I feel fine now… but I have to be responsible!!!” he wrote. “My Xmas n New Years is clearly not gonna be the best… my last year and a half has not been the best… but I WILL BE OKAY!!!”
Shemar Moore is known for his many roles both on TV and film, ranging from The Young and the Restless to his time on Soul Train to Criminal Minds all the way to his current role on S.W.A.T.
According to Deadline, “S.W.A.T. is on a holiday production break, so Moore’s diagnosis likely won’t impact any filming.”
