Actress Lori Loughlin is free after serving two months in prison. The actress and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, who was sentenced to five months in prison, paid half a million dollars in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California.
Loughlin will have to pay $150,000 in fines, spend two years on probation, and will have to do 100 hours in community service. On top of Giannulli’s five months in prison, he will have to pay $250,000 in fines, followed by two years of probation and 250 hours of community service.
The couple’s daughter, Olivia Jade, appeared on “Red Table Talk” earlier this month.
“I wasn’t aware of what was going on,” she said. “I did work hard, and when this did come out, I was a little confused. If only people knew how bad I feel that this happened.”
Olivia Jade told the Pinkett Smith family that she has not spoken to her family.
“There’s a quarantine phase, just cause of COVID, so I think that’s the reason, but I just haven’t heard anything, so I’m just waiting,” Olivia Jade said.
