Chipotle Mexican Grill is adding a plant-based item to its menus nationwide. Freshly grilled riced cauliflower will be offered as an alternative to rice. The chain will also serve lifestyle bowls.
“Chipotle fans have been craving more plant-powered, better-for-you options that align with the latest health trends and emphasize the benefits of real food,” Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer, said. “That’s why we are thrilled to offer Cauliflower Rice nationally and help our fans achieve their diet or lifestyle goals.”
The Cauliflower rice costs $2 and is only available for a limited time only.
Whole30, Keto, Vegetarian, and Vegan bowls with cilantro-lime cauliflower rice will also be available for purchase.
