A Queens rapper filed a lawsuit over Nicki Minaj’s “Rich Sex” song for more than $200 million, claiming she stole it from him.
Interestingly enough, Jawara Headley —who goes by Brinx Billions — is credited as a songwriter on the song, TMZ reports. The lawsuit names Minaj, Universal Music Group, Young Money, and Cash Money and seeks more than $200 million in damages.
He claims that he and Nicki have known each other since the MySpace days, and he allegedly played the song for Nicki before 2016. She told him the song was a hit, and then Nicki put it on her Queen album. Brinx claims the version she released has similar music, notes, musical arrangement, musical beats, musical rhythm, and even some of his lyrics.
