Alex Trebek Shares Message With Viewers In His Final Episodes Of ‘Jeopardy!’

Alex Trebek shared one last message before the start of his final shows. 

Back in November, the beloved Jeopardy! host passed away at the age of 80 after battling pancreatic cancer. According to CNN, before passing, Trebek filmed his last episode in October, which was originally set to run over the Christmas holiday. During Monday’s airing, Trebek kicked off the show by telling viewers to cherish the moments they have with their family members. 

“Now, today, a different kind of message: This is the season of giving,” he said. “I know you want to be generous with your family, your friends, your loved ones. But today, I’d like you to go one step further.”

Trebek added, “I’d like you to open up your hands and open up your heart to those who are still suffering because of Covid-19. He continued: “People who are suffering through no fault of their own,” he said. “We’re trying to build a gentler, kinder society. And if we all pitch in, just a little bit, we’re gonna get there.”
