Earlier this morning, PBS Kids announced on Twitter that Caillou is being canceled after it’s 20 long years on air, along with tips for parents on how to break the news to their children.
However, unfortunately for PBS, many parents were happy to say goodbye to the tv series that many complained was teaching their kids bad habits.
Caillou premiered on PBS in September of 2000, which centered around a precocious boy and his family. The show ran for five seasons until 2010, when it went into syndication on PBS.
The show has been a target for complaints by parents who claimed that it taught their kids how to be whiny and bratty, and now several social media users were here to celebrate the news of the tv show’s cancellation.
One viewer tweeted a clip of the title character tormenting his baby sister and said, “Caillou was one evil ass mf.”
