On Saturday, an Iowa man was arrested for his part in the pro-Trump insurrection that took place at the Capitol last week.
Doug Jensen, 41, can be seen in a video posted to Twitter by HuffPost journalist Igor Bobic, leading a crowd of people into the Capitol and chasing a Black police officer up a flight of stairs.
Jensen, whose face appeared in an FBI photo array released on Thursday, is seen in the video wearing a black Q-Anon T-shirt over long sleeves and a black knit cap.
The New York Post reports he was booked early Saturday on five federal charges, including trespassing and disorderly conduct charges. The arrest was announced in a news release from the FBI’s field office in Omaha, Nebraska, and the Polk County sheriff’s office.
According to the Des Moines Register, Doug Jensen posted multiple photographs of himself participating in the riot at the Capitol. He also responded to other accounts associated with the Q-Anon conspiracy community on social media, asking if they liked his shirt.
Jensen was one of many protesters arrested in the last couple of days for their part in the riot on Wednesday.
