Ali Alexander, the organizer of the “Stop the Steal” event, has revealed that three Republican Congressman helped him plan the event that led to the deadly Capitol riot on January 6th.

Alexander, who identifies as a right-wing activist, confirmed in a now-deleted video on Periscope that Mo Brooks of Alabama, Reps. Andy Biggs of Arizona and Paul A. Gosar of Arizona helped organize and execute the pro-Trump event on the day that Congress was to certify the Electoral College votes that show Joe Biden to have won the presidential election. The man says that the group planned the entire event together, which eventually led to violence at the Capitol.

“We four schemed up of putting maximum pressure on Congress while they were voting,” Alexander confessed. He added that they planned to “change the hearts and the minds of Republicans who were in that body, hearing our loud roar from outside.”

The violent siege left five people dead and forced Congress members to be evacuated.

Brooks refused to accept any responsibility in the chaos and denied knowing Alexander. Biggs and Gosar would not comment on the matter. However, social media posts have linked all three men to Alexander. Gosar referred to the man as a “true patriot” on Twitter. Donald Trump even retweeted a video posted by Alexander on December 26th that included a message from Biggs, where he referenced Brooks. Alexander has reportedly been banned from Twitter and Facebook for his role in inciting the riot.

Alexander told Politico that he has since received death threats since the riot, which he claims was completely separate from the event that he organized.

“I fight for civil rights. I believe this election was stolen. I petitioned my government. I’m being punished for organizing millions of people.”
