Wendy Williams is opening up about her relationship with her ex-husband Kevin Hunter and exposed his philandering ways.
In an interview with Extra’s Billy Bush, Williams shared that her ex-husband cheated on her while pregnant with their now 20-year-old son, Kevin Jr.
“I didn’t want him to leave me by myself,” Williams admitted, before revealing that she knew then, their relationship was “not ’til death do us part.”
“Kevin was a serial cheater. Kevin had different mistresses. This last one was the one he had the longest term relationship with,” Williams stated in reference to her ex’s relationship with Sharina Hudson. Hudson gave birth to a baby girl with Hunter in 2019, while he was still very married to Wendy.
Wendy now describes the end of her marriage as “cathartic.”
“I don’t regret falling in love with Kevin… and I definitely don’t regret getting the best divorce attorney I could… and fighting tooth and nail to get everything out of that divorce,” she said.
Wendy also revealed that the former couple remains cordial for the sake of their son.
“He calls from time to time,” she revealed. “I don’t block his number, though. He’s my son’s father … He came to my mother’s funeral.”
