The woman who used Gorilla Glue to style her hair is now thinking about filing a lawsuit against the company.

The saga of the TikToker is ongoing, and the next episode includes potential legal action. According to TMZ, the woman, Tessica Brown, went to the ER over the weekend to see what could be done about her glued-down hair. She stayed in the ER for 22 hours, and while there, healthcare workers put acetone on her head. The acetone made the glue gooey, but it then hardened once again. She was sent home with the instruction to continue using acetone. However, nothing worked.

TMZ reports that the 40-year-old woman is thinking about taking legal action against Gorilla Glue, which specifies that its products are not to be used for eyes, skin, or clothing. The use of the product on hair is not included, and Brown feels the omittance is misleading. The company and its product packaging all state its products are considered permanent. Brown claims she thought it was okay to use on her hair because the product says multi-use.

In response to Brown, Gorilla Glue sent out a statement. “We are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced using our Spray Adhesive on her hair. We are glad to see in her recent video that Miss Brown has received medical treatment from her local medical facility and wish her the best,” the statement read.

Brown spoke to Kiss 92.5 and opened up about the incident. She says the people calling her foolish made her feel “some type of way” and that she took the issue to social media because she “didn’t know what to do.” Brown said that even her attempt at shaving the hair wouldn’t work.

“First of all, when I got to the emergency room, they took all my vitals, and they brought me straight to the back,” Brown explains. “When I get in the bed, they went and got nail polish remover, she got some saline water, and they started on the back. Because I told them that it wasn’t that much spray in the back.” She continued: “When she started, it started to burn. So, they took the saline water to try to cool it off. But it burned so bad that my heart started beating so fast. So, she stopped. So, she told me it looks like she could do it, but it’s going to take at least, like 20 hours.”

Brown says that she wanted to take care of it from home and that the healthcare workers sent her off with saline water, nail polish remover, and wipes. Brown said every time she tried to work on getting it off, it would burn. Brown concluded the interview by saying that the last resort is shaving her hair off. However, it’s not what she wants to do.

I’ve never felt so conflicted and frustrated with my feelings about this situation. On one hand I feel bad for her, I can only imagine how traumatizing that must be and hope she recovers safely and quickly.

On the other hand, I want to slap some sense into her. she must really be loosing it, if she thinks a judge will take her lawsuit seriously. Your 40 years old and didn’t do the simplest thing, which is read the label!
