HBO is set to air a new documentary series that looks at the sexual abuse allegations made against filmmaker Woody Allen by his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow. Allen has denied the allegations.
According to Variety, the four part series, titled Allen v. Farrow, will include home movies, court documents, police evidence and audio recordings that have not been heard before.
The series will feature interviews with Dylan, her mother, actress Mia Farrow, and her brother Ronan Farrow, along with family friend and singer Carly Simon. Investigators, experts, eyewitnesses and Frank Maco, the prosecutor who handled the case, also appear.
Filmmakers Kirby Dick, Amy Ziering and Amy Herdy dig into the allegations, the custody battle that followed, and Allen’s relationship with Mia’s daughter Soon Yi Previn, whom he later married. HBO says the series also looks at how the family was affected in the years afterward.
Dick and Ziering also made On The Record, an HBO documentary about allegations against music mogul Russell Simmons, which he has denied.
In a clip from the trailer, Dylan says, “No matter what you think you know, it’s just the tip of the iceberg.” Mia is also heard in the trailer saying she could not believe the accusations when she first heard them.
Allen v. Farrow premieres on HBO on Sunday, February 21 at 9 p.m.
