Rapper Lil’ Boosie is asking the community and his online followers for diabetes medication.
From perpetuating double-standards, commenting on a woman’s body, to now trying to score diabetes medication from locals in Atlanta, it’s truly a task keeping up with Boosie and all his headlines. The Blast reports the 38-year-old posted an image of a daily injectable insulin pen in hopes that someone would see it and have one sent to him in Atlanta.
The outlet reports that the medication is for the treatment of Type 1 diabetes. If a person doesn’t receive care, via the pen, it could result in a person suffering and dying of the disease. “Who got this in atl?” he wrote on Instagram. “Get that s–t from the Doctor or a legit place not on the streets, boosie!” 0ne person wrote. Another said, “Boosie, you need a private nurse or a woman that really care bout you, this ridiculous you don’t never have your medicine man.”
This appears to be his second attempt at trying to get the drugs he needs. Boosie also asked fans in Florida and Georgia to help him find insulin, the Blast reports.
Boosie received several supportive messages from fans. One person added that at one point, they had an entire box of insulin to give to the rapper. “wrote your team months ago, I had six boxes. I never received a response back, so we donated them,” the person said.
Hopefully, he receives some help soon!
