A TV reporter and his crew were robbed by a gunman on Friday while shooting in Ecuador.
The entire incident was caught on camera and later released by soccer reporter Diego Ordinola of DirecTV Sports.
“We can never work in peace,” Ordinola captioned the video.
According to The New York Post, while filming outside the Estadio Monumental stadium in Tarqui, Guayaquil, a man ran up on the crew, waving and pointing a gun in their faces.
“Telephone!” he yells while also disenabling the microphone Ordinola is using. The gunman then points the gun at the camera operator before grabbing a phone from someone just to the right of the shot, the Post reported.
After a few moments, the video follows the robber and captures him riding away on the back of a motorbike.
As of now, the police are still in search of the robber.
The video has been viewed more than 370,000 times. Many people have been helpful in the case, attempting to make out the motorbike’s license plate number from the video footage.
“Thank you all for your messages of solidarity, I appreciate it very much,” Ordinola wrote on Twitter. “Let’s unite to eradicate crime in Ecuador.”
