Golf champion Tiger Woods is in the hospital after sustaining multiple injuries in a car crash Tuesday morning. According to the Daily Mail, Woods was driving alone when his vehicle flipped over. Firefighters used jaws of life to break into the car and rescue the star.
“Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries,” Mark Steinberg, Wood’s agent told Golf Digest.
Cops are investigating what caused the crash. Woods, who lives in Florida, was in California for the annual Genesis Invitational golf tournament at Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades, according to a TMZ report.
“He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support,” Steinberg said.
