According to Tap Into, the 20-year-old was last seen on Feb. 11 when she reportedly attended a Brooklyn hotel party. And officially went missing on Feb. 14; that was the last time the young woman’s family had heard from her. Curry’s brother held a press conference with Black Lives Matter Paterson to figure out what could be done to help find and return the woman home.

Thankfully, the woman returned home Tuesday night. During an interview on Wednesday, Curry’s father said he isn’t sure where his daughter was or whether she was found by police or returned home on her own. The Paterson Police Department worked alongside New York Transit police departments and the New Jersey State Police Missing Persons unit to locate her.

Curry’s brother and Black Lives Matter Paterson also hosted a virtual press conference to get the word out about her missing. At the time, her brother said he wasn’t sure if the latest texts he’d received from her were actually her. “It wasn’t the same person,” he said, highlighting the difference in texting styles. Nyrah, described as 5’2 and 100 pounds, was officially entered into a national database as a missing person.

BLM Paterson leader Zellie Thomas announced on Facebook that the woman had been found Wednesday morning. According to the website North Jersey, Thomas said Curry’s father and brother texted him that she came back home Tuesday night.
