Vanessa Bryant Calls Out Evan Rachel Wood and Abigail Disney For Calling Kobe Bryant A Rapist After His Death

Vanessa Bryant had time today. The wife of the late Kobe Bryant responded to Abigail Disney’s year-old tweets, whose grandfather Roy O. Disney co-founded The Walt Disney Company, and Evan Rachel Wood.

Following the NBA legend’s death, both Disney and Rachelwood chose to speak on his past rape allegations.

Wood’s tweet called his death a tragedy while also saying she was heartbroken for his family. But she then went on to say the sports hero was a rapist.

Vanessa decided to respond by saying, “Your false, insensitive, defamatory and slanderous tweet on 1/26/20 is vile and disturbing to say the least. Behavior like this is part of the reason why innocent black men go to jail for crimes they didn’t commit. An accusation doesn’t make someone guilty. YOU DON’T KNOW THE FACTS OF THE CASE.”

She made a similar response to Disney’s January 29, 2020 tweet which also called the former Los Angeles Laker’s star a rapist.
