For the second time in two months, YouTube has suspended Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump’s personal counsel, for wrongly alleging the 2020 election was rigged.

Bloomberg News announced that the former mayor of New York, who led Trump’s attempts to reverse November’s outcome, would be barred from posting new videos for two weeks.

The suspension was also attributed to Giuliani’s promotion of nicotine, according to the video-sharing giant.

A YouTube rep told Bloomberg in a statement, “We removed content from the Rudy W. Giuliani channel for violating our sale of regulated goods policy, which prohibits content facilitating the use of nicotine, and our presidential election integrity policy.” Adding, “Additionally, in accordance with our long-standing strikes system, we issued a strike against the Rudy W. Giuliani channel, which temporarily restricts uploading or live-streaming.”

If a user violates YouTube’s content policies for the second time in a 90-day span, their uploading privileges are suspended for two weeks.

Rudy Giuliani has been barred from profiting from videos on YouTube. Bloomberg announced that if Giuliani violates the site’s rules a third time in the same period, his channel will be permanently shut down.

Giuliani, 76, was removed from YouTube’s Partner Network for at least 30 days in January, stopping him from profiting from advertisements that appear on his posts. For a week, he was even banned from posting videos.

At the time, YouTube accused Giuliani of consistently breaching its rules by spreading allegations of election fraud.

“American Votes Counted in Foreign Countries” and “68% ERROR Rate In Votes PROVES Deliberate Fraud” were among the videos on Giuliani’s site, which has more than 580,000 subscribers.

Dominion Voting Systems has filed a $1.3 billion lawsuit against the former mayor, arguing that the voting machine corporation corrupted the presidential election.
