Recently, Love and Hip Hop reality star Tahiry posted a video about a menu item’s name. While vacationing in the Dominican Republic, she ranted about the menu’s “peasant salad,” which is another name for Greek Salad.
“So do you think I want to eat her? Do you even think that I want to stay here? I had a whole moment that at 2021, you still come out.. I mean sh*t, racism is so alive, and we know this. But we work so hard to come to like a place, to an establishment, to a f***king resort to f***king eat a peasant salad,” she ranted.
Twitter users certainly weighed in on the emotional video.
One user posted, “Bruh… is Tahiry okay? She had a whole meltdown on IG cuz she’s at a resort in Dominican and the menu had “peasant salad.”
While another asked, So did #Tahiry get “flewed out” to wherever she was showing off her New York public school education or did she find a destination on #Groupon and say “why not”? “#Peasant” and “#Pheasant are not the same thing.
