‘The Chi’ Has Halted Season 4 Production After Positive Covid-19 Test on Set

According to Deadline, production on Showtime’s The Chi’s upcoming fourth season has been halted for a week due to a positive Covid-19 test.

Although filming during the pandemic and temporary production shutdowns have become the norm, TV studios, including Disney TV Studios’ 20th Television, which is behind The Chi, have all put in place stringent protocols and procedures that have proven successful to keep those on set safe while the rest of country was hit by a third wave of Covid-19 outbreaks this past winter.

Season 4 of The Chi is set to premiere on Showtime on May 23.
