Actor Malik Yoba is teaming up with actress Elisabeth Röhm for an all-new true-crime docuseries with a unique spin.

The “New York Undercover” star will work with Röhm to spotlight how racial and socioeconomic inequalities impact criminal investigations and how this affects the way that justice is served. Reality television executives Dorothy Toran and Leslie D. Farrell’s Lauren Grace Media will lend a hand to the series production.

“We are so thrilled to partner with Elisabeth and Malik to help shine a light on matters of racial inequity,” Toran stated. She added that both of the actors have an “incredible commitment and passion for having the difficult conversations required to help combat the inequalities, so many disadvantaged communities face.”

Farrell and Toran both possess experience with capturing real-life social issues. Last year, they produced two Bravo specials surrounding the 2020 election, “Race in America: Our Vote Counts,” as well as “Race in America: A Movement Not A Moment.”

This is the latest docuseries from Yoba, who formerly produced and directed “The Real Estate Mix Tape Vol 1.,” which followed his real estate journey in New York City.

The cases that will be included in the crime series have not yet been revealed.
