Dancer and Youtuber Joie Chavis revealed in a new video that she does not receive court-ordered child support from either of her children’s fathers.
In a new video posted to her channel, titled “Setting the Record Straight | Assumptions with Joie Chavis,” the model read off different assumptions that people have made about her. When she came across the assumption of her being a gold digger, Chavis set the record straight.

“I feel like a lot of people say that, and I’m not,” She added, “if that’s the case, I would date everyone that tries to talk to me with money. I don’t, and I’m not a gold digger. I’ve worked since I was 15. I take care of my kids. I don’t get any child support.”
These comments sent social media into a frenzy, with many asking how the mom of two could have children with Future and Bow Wow, both wealthy rappers, and not receive any child support. However, Chavis says that her children’s fathers help out financially independently without being ordered to.
“I don’t really need to ask for certain things for my kids because I can do everything myself. If their fathers want to do things for them, then they do that on their own time.”
Chavis and Bow Wow share a 9-year-old daughter, Shai Moss, while she and Future share a 2-year-old son, Hendrix Wilburn.
