Former Bad Boy Rapper Black Rob has passed away at the age of 51.

After the passing of DMX, a video was posted on Instagram of Black Rob in a hospital paying his respects to the rapper. Many fans were concerned about Black Rob’s health and lack of energy from the video.

In the video, Black Rob states, “Pain is crazy, man. It’s helping me out though. It’s making me realize I gotta lot to go on. I gotta lot to go on, man.”

In a second video, the rapper talked about his struggles and what he is going through. “Oh man, I’ve been dealing with this for five years,” he said in another IG video. “Four strokes … I don’t know what to tell you man. Shit is crazy. This shit is hard. I don’t got no house to live in — except maybe an apartment. Me and my man be trying to get together. I’m telling you man, this shit is strange. It’s hard, you know what I’m saying?”

“I don’t know what the people want to do, what the people going to say. I need some rest, man. Really, man. I need some rest. My side is killing me. Oh shit. I don’t want to talk about it no more.”

Back in 2015, the “Woah” rapper suffered a stroke. He talked about the effects of the stroke in an interview with Sway In The Morning. “It ain’t no drugs. Lately, I had high blood pressure,” Rob explained. “Being that I have that, that takes a lot out of a brother. Going on tour, you don’t even know. This is a real serious… I had a stroke. Yea, I had a stroke… and ummm, I got over that. “It’s been high blood pressure and trying to stay on top of this thing.”

Robert “Black Rob” Ross is best known for his 2000 single “Whoa,” which peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Baller Alert Family sends our condolences to Black Rob and his family during this time.
