While the entire Hip Hop world is still mourning the death of Rapper DMX, Irv Gotti revealed in a recent interview with The WGCI Morning Show that DMX had covid-19.
During the start of the clip, Kendra G asked Irv where he was when he got the news about DMX. He said that he was in Atlanta, and he passed away on his son’s birthday. He said, “I knew it was coming cause the family was like he was brain dead.”
Irv also claims that when DMX was diagnosed with covid, he couldn’t breathe, and that’s when he was hooked to the ventilator.
Later in the clip, Kendra G then stops Irv and said, ” So that is true, they said he didn’t have covid, so he really did have covid?” but Irv said, “It was a bad dose of crack and that some drug called fentanyl was mixed in the crack and that’s what made him overdose.”
He said, “you know that covid messes with your respiratory system, and that’s why he needed to be hooked up to the ventilator.”
Irv said that once he found out that if DMX survived, he would still be brain dead, “I don’t want to see him like that; if he comes back, I want him to come back and be X.” He said, ” You know when it got down to it, he couldn’t survive without being on the machine.”
At the end of the clip, Irv said, “He is in a better place, and when I die, I’ll see my man again.”
