Jay-Z is a big fan of the home workout trend.
The rap legend and business mogul has just invested in a Los Angeles-based fitness company called LIT Method.
Jay-Z and his Marcy Venture Partners co-founders Jay Brown and Larry Marcus have invested in the LIT Method brand, founded by Justin and Taylor Norris.
LIT (which stands for Low Impact Training) boasts an all-in-one “Strength Machine”: a pilates reformer, water rower, and resistance band training system that features over 500 high-intensity, low-impact exercises.
“Justin and Taylor are tenacious and adaptive entrepreneurs with so much drive and passion,” Larry Marcus said. LIT fits well with MVP’s vision for funding accessibility in health and wellness. “Their engaging content, motivating style, and innovative equipment are a winning combination,” Marcus continued.
The companies did not reveal how much the investment in the brand was for.
