San Francisco Giants announced that right handed pitcher Tim Hudson had surgery on his right ankle.
Hudson’s surgery may not suprise fans that follow him and his career. This surgery is to fix bone spurs in his right ankle. This injury happened two months before the end of the 2013 season, while Huddy was still with the Atlanta Braves. He was running to first when the first baseman for the New York Mets stepped on his ankle. That same offseason he signed with the Giants.
Hudson is expected to be ready on opening but the word is he hopes it will be sooner. Huddy is entering his last year of his contract and what many expect to be his last year playing.
We wish Tim Hudson a speedy recovery and a great 2015 season!
