Tristan Thompson Denies Sydney Chase Cheating Allegations, Sends Cease and Desist; UPDATE — Sydney Responds

6:45pm — Sydney Chase has responded to Tristan Thompson’s legal threats stating she has not received a cease-and-desist from anyone. The model wrote via her Instagram story, “Let this be a lesson to not let anyone no matter the money or fame they have, to shut you down or tarnish your name.”

Tristan Thompson is denying the latest cheating allegations from Sydney Chase and is taking legal action against the Instagram model, as well as the podcast where the allegations first came to light.

The NBA star’s attorney, Marty Singer, sent a cease-and-desist letter to Chase who recently claimed she had sex with Thompson since he’s been back in a relationship with Khloe Kardashian. The letter calls Chase’s allegations “malicious defamatory fabrications.” Thompson’s attorney also mentions, “Mr. Thompson had no relationship with you whatsoever and he never sent you any such texts.” Chase previously claimed to have salacious text messages from the Celtics player.

The letter also mentions if Chase doesn’t stop “defaming” Thompson in the media or online, she may find herself in court attempting to defend her “indefensible misconduct.”

But Chase isn’t the only person Singer sent a cease and desist to. Thompson’s attorney also sent a letter to Adam John Grandmaison, the host of the “No Jumper,” podcast where Sydney accused Tristan of cheating on Khloe with her. “Yeah, we got a cease-and-desist and deleted it,” Grandmaison told Page Six. “Honestly, I wouldn’t have posted it in the first place if I knew it was going to mess up a relationship.” …. “I try to avoid the ‘exposing’-style interviews these days,” he added.

The podcast has since deleted the original video and reuploaded an edited version that does not mention Chase and Thompson’s alleged affair.
