Trey Songz just had the charges dropped for a dust-up with cops during a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game, only to find himself back in hot water. A bartender has filed a lawsuit against the R&B singer for an alleged altercation in 2019.
TMZ reports that Trey Songz is being sued for battery for an incident that took place May 9, 2019, at the Hollywood Palladium. Trey Songz was not performing that night but instead was just attending a Cardi B concert.
According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ, the singer hopped up to sit on the bar during the show, which is against venue policy. The bartender alleges Trey Songz ignored him when he asked him to get down, so he put his hand on the singer’s back to get his attention. That’s when he alleges Trey Songz attacked him, punching him in the head.
The bartender is seeking unspecified damages, claiming he suffered physical pain and emotional and psychological injury due to the altercation.
