Starting May 15, guests at Universal Orlando will no longer be required to wear face masks outside.
However, masks will still be required inside restaurants, shops, hotels, and other indoor attractions “from the moment guests enter the queue to when they exit the experience,” PEOPLE reported.
The theme park broke the news on its new safety guidelines on Friday.
Social distancing policies are still in place for those visiting the park.
Universal Orlando reopened its doors on June 5, 2020, after being closed since mid-march due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite resuming operations, park executives warned visitors that the park experience would not be like normal experiences.
Along with face mask requirements, the park also checked temperatures, practice social distancing, and set up touchless payments and “virtual lines for some attractions, among other new measures.”
The park’s traditional meet and greetings and other guest interactive experiences were also paused amid the pandemic.
