Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson is joining the wave of celebrity boxing matches.

Weeks ago, the former NFL player announced that he would be boxing on the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul undercard. Talks have swirled for a while regarding who Ochocinco’s opponent would be. On Monday, the 43-year-old took to Twitter to announce that he would be going against cruiserweight Brian Maxwell. He also posted a clip of him in the boxing ring, training for his upcoming fight.

Ochocinco, making his boxing debut, will have quite the challenge on his hands with Maxwell. The 33-year-old is bringing immense combat sports experience in boxing, bare-knuckle boxing, and mixed martial arts. He recently competed in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) but lost his most recent boxing match against Gaspard Pierre.

The two will go head-to-head on June 6th at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Fans can catch the fight on Showtime Pay-Per-View.
