Hillary Clinton has finally addressed claims that she is a blood-sucking baby-eater, as described in Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.”
Amazon Studios launched a supplemental series dubbed “Debunking Borat” last week, which included cut sequences and other extra content from the “Borat” sequel.
Jim and Jerry, a couple of fervent conspiracy theorists who play a big role in “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,” are included in the bonus scene. One theory they promote as hardcore QAnon fans is that Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as other influential public people, are modern-day vampires.
During the early days of the coronavirus outbreak, Jim and Jerry told Cohen, disguised as Borat, that “the Clintons are very evil.”
“Supposedly, they torture these kids,” the men explained. “It gets their adrenaline flowing in their body, then they take that out of their adrenal glands, and they drink their blood.”
Producers responded by asking the former secretary of state to send a message to Jim and Jerry, addressing their ridiculous accusations.
“Hello, Jim and Jerry. This is Hillary Rodham Clinton, and I know you’ve heard a few things about me that you might believe,” she began. “I know that you’re not alone,” she continued, with a nod to the QAnon proponents. “It’s hurtful, I’ll be really honest with you. It’s hurtful, not just to me and my family but to my friends and other people who know this is not just false but sometimes painfully false. So just as one American to another, I hope we can start trying to find common ground again and overcome all those forces that are trying to divide us and put us into little boxes apart from each other. Wouldn’t it be great to kind of come together instead of drift apart? I hope that’s possible. Thank you.”
“I just can’t stand her,” Jim concluded after hearing Clinton’s statement in a follow-up interview for the bonus series.
Meanwhile, at the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Cohen announced that he was “canceling” himself — specifically, his controversial characters Borat, Ali G, and Bruno — “before anyone else does it,” he said. The British satirist called the “Borat” sequel “probably the most dangerous project I had to work on” and said the Kazakh broadcaster’s iconic gray suit “is locked up and not coming out again” in an interview tied to the Golden Globes broadcast earlier this year.
On Amazon Prime Video, all six episodes of “Debunking Borat,” as well as “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,” are now available to watch.
