We thought things were going well from Apollo and Phaedra but apparently that doesn’t seem to be the case. After rumors leaked that Phaedra was going to visit Apollo in jail for Christmas and possibly take their sons, it appears she didn’t do so after all.
Apollo is currently serving an 8 year prison stint in Lexington, Kentucky and despite saying she’d love to bring the couple’s sons Ayden, (4 years) and Dylan (18 mos) to visit, Phaedra and the boys spent their Christmas day at home amongst a small gathering of family. According to a source close to the family, visiting Apollo in Kentucky on Christmas “logistically just didn’t work out,” the source further explained that Apollo did get talk to the boys on the telephone.
Baby steps are better than no steps at all. At least Apollo got to talk to the boys even if he couldn’t see them. I can only imagine how hard it would be to take two small kids to an out of state jail visit during a holiday. Nothing about that seems like how I’d want to spend my Christmas.
