Nickelodeon star Jared Drake Bell has been arrested and charged with two crimes against children.
The “Drake & Josh” star was arrested in Cleveland Thursday after being indicted on charges of attempted endangerment of children and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
Bell is accused of inappropriately chatting with victims, which was sexual in nature at times, Fox 8 News reported.
He was arraigned in a Cuyahoga County Court and had pled not guilty to the charges against him. He also waived the reading of his indictment.
He has since posted a $2,500 bond and is to have no contact with the victims and must provide a DNA specimen, which is a standard protocol for defendants.
The incident in question occurred on December 1, 2017, the same day the actor was scheduled to perform at a Cleveland club.
He will return to court on June 17.
The charges come less than a year after his ex-girlfriend Melissa Lingafelt accused him of verbally and physically abusing her.
