Love & Hip Hop‘s Safaree Samuels has responded to estranged wife Erica Mena‘s divorce petition.
According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Safaree is willing to hand over the former couple’s home to Erica, however he is requesting joint legal custody for their infant daughter, Safire, and their second baby due next month. Additionally, Safaree requests consistent and uninterrupted parenting and visitation with his children. In Erica’s initial divorce filing, she asked for exclusive use of their shared home and primary custody of their daughter, however noted that she’s open to a joint legal custody agreement.
In his response to the divorce petition, Safaree also wants to maintain exclusive possession of their individual vehicles and requests to maintain all personal property acquired during the marriage individually. He also would like the courts to deny Erica any alimony and would like the courts to determine child support obligations.
Erica filed for divorce last month after less than two years of marriage.
