A Milwaukee woman faces multiple charges after setting her sleeping husband on fire because she thought he poisoned her chicken wings.
Tuhonsty Marie Smith, 29, was charged with arson of a building, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, mayhem, and domestic abuse. She is scheduled to undergo a competency exam.

Smith told investigators that on June 2, she suspected her husband of poisoning her chicken wings. Early the following day, she filled a cup with lighter fluid and poured it on his head while sleeping. She used a lighter to ignite the accelerant.Â
According to the New York Post, first responders took the victim to the hospital with burns to his head, chest, ears, hands, neck, and face.Â
Williams told investigators that he and Smith had argued the night before because he told her that he was planning to leave her and move out of their home.
Smith is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
